Darren Mason

Program Coordinator, Founder Accelerator Network Group (FANG)

Darren A. Mason Sr. serves as the Program Coordinator for the Founder Accelerator Network Group (FANG) with the Florida Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Florida A&M University. In this role, he supports entrepreneurs and small business owners through structured incubation and accelerator programming designed to strengthen leadership capacity, operational readiness, and sustainable business growth.


With more than 20 years of experience in leadership development, entrepreneurship, workforce training, and community economic development, Darren brings a formation-first approach to helping founders move from survival mode into strategic execution. His work focuses on aligning vision, systems, and accountability so businesses are positioned for long-term resilience and scale.

Darren is also the founder of MVP Impact Group, where he works with leaders, organizations, and institutions to build execution frameworks that drive measurable economic and community outcomes. He is known for blending leadership development, operational strategy, and coaching to support entrepreneurs at every stage of growth.
